King's Lynn - students' report

Our impressions about the meeting in King's Lynn

On Monday 28th in the morning we all travelled by bus from London to King's Lynn. When we arrived there, we went to the college where the English students greeted us. To break the ice we all were involved in  a joke which consisted in asking questions to each other. It was funny, mostly because all the questions were pretty weird.

Then the teachers divided us into groups, which were mixtures of Italian, Spanish, Czech and English students. Once that was done, we were scattered across King's Lynn to get some information about the historical buildings and write everything down on a paper.
In the afternoon we had some free time to have a walk through the town or do shopping.
Then, in the evening we all had lunch at the Globe hotel, where the Italian, the Spanish and the Czech students and teachers were also staying.

On Tuesday 29th we went to Cambridge. The way from King's Lynn station lasted 1 hour and it was worth it! Cambridge is a beautiful city, full of history. As a matter of fact the English students gave us another paper to fill in with some information about the town.
As the day before, divided into international groups, we explored Cambridge.
Then we had lunch and in the afternoon we reached the station. While we were waiting to take the train  back to King's Lynn, we took a lot of funny pictures with our cameras.
Later in the evening we had dinner together at the Globe hotel again.

On Wednesday 30th in the morning we stayed in the computer lab to revise our presentations. Then we had lunch at the college restaurant. When our lunch was over, we had a tour of the College and in the afternoon each delegation showed its own presentation. Wednesday afternoon was free and we went shopping together with our new foreign friends.

On Thursday 31st in the morning we all met at  school. Then we caught a bus to  Hunstanton, which is a nice little town located on the coast.
Unfortunately Hunstanton got a terribly flood which destroyed  its area, as the English teacher told us, about 20  years ago.
Since the sea is close it was very windy but was sunny too, so we enjoyed visiting the town.
As usual, in the afternoon we came back to King's Lynn, ready to prepare our luggage. Later in the evening we went to the Bowling and we enjoyed our time there a lot. Anyway, unfortunately, it was time to go!  We said goodbye to everybody and then we came back to the hotel.

On Friday 1st our group got up earlier than the others, we reached London and then we took the plane to come back home.
It was great time with all the new people met in the UK, we had the chance to practice our English, and most important of all, we realized that meeting teenagers from different European countries is impressive! We all hope  we'll keep on getting in touch in the future!

Thanks to everybody for this unique chance and all the best to each of you by the Italian students!!!!

This is the link for a video made with our photos taken in UK: Angela's Video .
It is on Youtube, of course.
