Coordinators´ Meeting in Barcelona 10- 13 June 2013
Minutes
10 June 2013
The coordinators decided on the following
points:
Moodle should continue to be used as a
common communication platform and for collecting material, files etc.
Evaluation of the programmes and results of
previous meetings:
If there is
no accommodation available with the families, the host country should suggest
some possibilities for cheap accommodation and possibly provide a personal host
student who takes care of a guest (solution in Poland ).
School
masters should grant legal absence from school to all participating teachers so
that they may assist the guests.
All in all
coordinators (and students) found the past students´ meetings very successful.
The last meeting in the Czech Republic 2014
Czech
colleagues will try to host 3-4 international students from each country in the
host families to lessen the expenses for the guests.
11 June 2013
Intermediate Report
The Intermediate
Report should be filled out according to the requirements of the National
Agencies in each country.
If there are
any problems or changes, they should be mentioned. For example, the procedure for
finding project topics were changed during the meeting in Kings Lynn.
The Partnership activities can be taken
from Tom´s draft.
Dissemination of the
results
Every
country is responsible for disseminating ongoing activities and results of the
HIP project within the respective country (i.e. each school documents its
activities on their home country website, in press, on TV, in the school
journal, etc. ).
Because of
the huge amount of information collected in the participating countries, it is
difficult to gather it all on the HIP website. It would require a lot of time
and technical expertise making it impossible to complete in a short period of
time.
That is why the website of the HIP-Project should be considered a record for
the FINAL REPORT, it has to reflect the application from the EU and is a common
product of the results of all participating countries.
The website
of the HIP project will contain only some
general information about Comenius, the aims of this particular Comenius
project and the participating schools. And there will be only links to each country’s school web site where all
documentation about the activities can be found. The school websites should be interconnected
by links so you can begin with the HIP website, click on the link of Spain, for
instance, look there for further details of Spanish activities and then from
the Spanish website click on the link for the UK, for example UK, etc.
Sarka
Kostkova from the CR could probably design the HIP website. (THAT WOULD BE
GREAT!!!!) Sarka will have a look at the admin modus and will tell us whether
she will be able to be the administrator.

On the 31
MARCH – 4 APR 2014 in the final project meeting in the Czech Republic the
participating countries make summarizing presentations on the topics mentioned
above.
12 June 2013
The coordinators team decided to create a
common e-book.
The
students of each country summarize their projects, describe what they did and
where they were.
In order to
keep the design of all e-books uniform, students
must have 2 pages (A4) at their disposal for this report and they may include 2
pictures. Sarka will tell us whether the pictures should be inside of the text
or be sent separately as JPG (???) files.
In the first week of December Sarka is going to prepare the 3
layouts that can be used and she will send them to the coordinators (a special
THANK YOU, Sarka!!). The teachers choose their favourite layout within a 2 week period.
We didn´t
decide on anything for finishing of the e-book. We would like to suggest that
students prepare their summarized reports for the e-book till the 1st of
February. Sarka could complete the e-book until the meeting in the CR (31 MARCH
– 4 APR 2014) if possible. Then we could show this e-book to the students during
the final meeting.
During the last
coordinators´ meeting in Poland from 2-4 June 2014, teachers will fill in the last common report
for the respective National Agencies in each country.
